Lazy days spent at the marina, with the odd cycle on our brilliant folding bikes to keep us fit. We are both on a mission to lose a few kilos, so our diet consists of lots of Greek salad, lean meat and few sweets. Not such a hardship in this climate to be honest. One of the hardware stores had a weighing scales that revealed we had both lost 2 kilos in a week. Twins!
The main event on Saturday was a half marathon around the town, so we went along to watch the start. It was similar to many events we say in the UK with an announcer motivating everyone for the start, music, fanfare. It was great fun to watch, and made me think – I could do that! My mind is unfortunately fitter than my body right now, so the reality of me doing a half marathon would be somewhat different to what I had in mind. I was most excited by the countdown that enabled me to practice my Greek numbers.
