Haul out day. This was good for me to see, as I had images in my mind of quite a precarious situation with Nemrod dangling at odd angles as they lifted her out of the water.
In the event it was super smooth, with two huge slings making light work of it, with Nemrod perfectly horizontal at every manoevre.
While Nemrod was out of the water, Sunsail kindly offered us a 51 ft monohull to live on. It was interesting to compare layouts and fittings. Our conclusion was that we much preferred having the raised salon of a cat rather than stepping down into the hull. And the bedrooms felt a little claustrophobic. Although the internal fittings and fixtures on the Jeanneau were of a superior quality for sure.
